- Great Gma's Birthday -

Today was my grandmother's birthday, and we took Bailey out to the park to take some pictures with her. She wants some pictures of Bailey to hang on her wall and put in her picture books at home. Bailey enjoyed her time spent with her great grandmother today, in fact, she was even trying to force her to eat a leaf the whole time we were out there.

All in all, I would say that Bailey enjoyed herself, as did my grandma. She even got to push Bailey in the swing on our way back home.

We all sat down to take a group photo of the girls, but grandma was looking away each time. My good camera ran out of battery, and the back up battery was not charged for some reason SO I had to take so so pictures with my small Canon instead.

Bailey had a great time, but eventually she got TIRED and cranky and wanted to go home and nap - the sun can be draining! Here are a few pics of Bailey - if you look closely at the first one, you can see her little tooth on the left side of the picture in her mouth. She has one visible one, and one peeking out that you can feel.

So - happy birthday grandma! I hope you enjoyed your day at the Grapevine botanical gardens park with my little Bailey bear even though she pulled your hair and tried to shove leaves in your mouth. :)

As for my little noodle bear, there is not much new to report. She is pulling up with the greatest of ease, and crawling as fast as lightening. I stand her up by herself and she stays put for a while most of the time standing tall, that is until she realizes that I'm not holding her up...then she stumbles. She just lacks confidence right now, she can stand up really good on her own when she wants to. Here she is pulling herself up on the chairs in the kitchen.

Chris was reading her one of her favorite books the other day while she was playing in the living room

And somehow talked her into giving him a kiss

She was even showing off her 'YAY clap clap' - she loves to clap. You can either say YAY or clap clap and she will do it on command virtually every time. It makes her happy.

She also loves her new play tunnel that I bought for her. It sits in the living room now aka her 'play room' since we don't have any other safe zone for her. She's sitting here reading the book that Nana Robinson got for her from Florida. When you open the pages, music plays...very loud music - and she opens it again and again and again to make the music start over...the very loud music. Thanks Nana. :D

So other than playing and growing and being a cute little baby, Bailey is just coasting right now with not much major change. Her nap patterns are irregular now because of her off and on teething pain, but she still sleeps almost 11 hours a night. We are so blessed indeed to have a baby - Chris' baby, no less - sleep so well at night. Chris has been waking up with her every morning and feeding and changing her. He enjoys that morning time with her before he heads off to work, and she enjoys that time with her daddy as well.

So long for now, until next update...
